A Community Care, Women's Leadership, and Life Cycle Care Training Programme
Honouring Indigenous Lineage. Restoring the Sacred Practice of Community Care.
The Heart of Sacred Care
Before care became fragmented into professions, it belonged to communities.
Women carried knowledge across generations. They supported menstruation, fertility, conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, menopause, grief, and the transitions that shape a lifetime.
This is a living learning community for women who feel called to support others, strengthen their communities, deepen their understanding of holistic wellbeing, and reclaim ancestral approaches to care.
The Sacred Care Pathway returns us to that wisdom.
This is a living learning community for women who feel called to support others, strengthen their communities, deepen their understanding of holistic wellbeing, and reclaim ancestral approaches to care.
You do not need to be a doula, midwife, healthcare professional, or wellness practitioner.
This pathway is for women who believe care is a community responsibility and who desire the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to support others through life's many transitions.
Led by Melissa Philippe, Afro Indigenous Haitian traditional midwife, herbalist, educator, and founder of Rooted in Wisdom, this programme weaves ancestral knowledge, practical skill building, herbalism, ceremony, advocacy, leadership development, and community care into a transformative journey of learning and service.
