The Remembering is our sacred training and mentorship programme for womb-centred leaders. Through a blend of ancestral midwifery, traditional healing, and spiritual practice, we honour the call to preserve and pass down sacred arts that have long been stewarded by women. This programme serves professionals, birthkeepers, womb workers, and those who feel called to study, teach, and protect the sacred portal of life, death, and rebirth.
The Remembering is a multifunctional programme designed to support women across the full spectrum of womanhood. Alongside advanced training and mentorship pathways, including the option to enter our birthkeeper programme, we also address urgent material and educational gaps that directly affect women and girls in the United States. A core focus of this initiative is feminine hygiene access, menstrual health, and reproductive education as a response to the growing reality of period poverty.
We provide education rooted in body literacy, menstrual awareness, sexual health, and womb-centred reproductive knowledge. This learning is offered in ways that are age-appropriate, culturally grounded, and practical. Young girls, adolescents, and women are supported in understanding their bodies, recognising healthy cycles, and developing the confidence to advocate for their health and wellbeing.
At the heart of The Remembering is a deeper call. This programme exists to support women in remembering who they were designed to be by God. This remembering requires study, discipline, mentorship, and the unlearning of narratives that disconnect women from their bodies, wisdom, and spiritual authority. Many women were never given clear examples, tools, or teachings that reflected womanhood through a sacred and grounded lens. The Remembering creates space to restore that knowledge with intention and care.
As part of this initiative, we are developing our Women's Boxes. These are holistic care packages that include menstrual products, feminine hygiene supplies, and supportive wellness items. Each box is designed to meet immediate physical needs while reinforcing education, dignity, and self-respect. The Woman Boxes are an extension of our belief that a whole woman requires both knowledge and tangible support.
Through The Remembering, Rooted in Wisdom commits to education, access, and restoration. This programme bridges training, community care, and spiritual formation to support women and girls in becoming informed, resourced, and rooted in who they were created to be.
The ReMembering is our sacred mentorship and education programme rooted in Afro Indigenous midwifery, traditional healing, faith-based formation, and practical reproductive health education. This programme functions as both a training pathway and a community care initiative. It supports women and girls in remembering, learning, and embodying womanhood as God designed it, through knowledge, practice, and access to essential resources.
We work across generations. Young girls and adolescents are supported in understanding their bodies, cycles, and boundaries with clarity and confidence. Adult women are guided into skilled, community-based roles in reproductive care, education, and advocacy. Alongside learning and mentorship, The ReMembering directly addresses material gaps that affect dignity and health, including access to menstrual and feminine hygiene products.

As part of The ReMembering, we are developing our Woman Boxes initiative. These boxes provide menstrual products, feminine hygiene supplies, and supportive wellness items to women and girls experiencing financial and material hardship. Each box is paired with education, resources, and care-centred messaging that reinforce dignity, bodily awareness, and self-respect. This initiative pairs learning with tangible support, ensuring women are resourced both inwardly and outwardly.
By partnering with us, schools, organisations, and community groups gain access to a holistic, faith-rooted, and culturally grounded programme.
The ReMembering builds individual capacity while strengthening families and communities. It is a living response to period poverty, reproductive disconnection, and the loss of sacred knowledge around womanhood, offering education, access, and restoration in one integrated model.
We welcome women and those who experience life through womb-centred care, who are;
- Aspiring or experienced doulas, birthkeepers, and community health advocates seeking culturally rooted training and ethical grounding.
- Women who are professionals in their own right and feel called to share their wisdom, mentor others, and contribute to community wellbeing.
- Herbalists, wellness practitioners, and spiritual caregivers seeking deeper alignment with ancestral knowledge, faith-centred practice, and practical reproductive health education.
- Womb-centred healers and caretakers are committed to holistic, embodied care across all stages of life.
- Individuals who feel called to remember, reclaim, and live out their role as community caretakers through study, discipline, and service.
We also partner with schools, youth programmes, faith spaces, and community organisations to expand access to menstrual health education, body literacy, reproductive awareness, and rites of passage for young people. Through these partnerships, young girls and adolescents receive age-appropriate, respectful education that builds confidence, self-advocacy, and understanding of their bodies.
These partnerships also create pathways for adults to train and serve as educators, mentors, and leaders in reproductive wellness. In this way, The ReMembering strengthens multiple generations by pairing education with access, mentorship with service, and knowledge with tangible community care.
The ReMembering is supported by an Educator and Advisory Circle made up of skilled professionals, practitioners, and masters across a wide range of disciplines. This circle exists to strengthen education, expand access to trusted resources, and ensure our community receives accurate, ethical, and culturally grounded guidance.
Our Educator and Advisory Circle is primarily composed of women, with a strong presence of Black and Indigenous professionals. Members are selected based on their lived experience, professional expertise, integrity, and alignment with the values of Rooted in Wisdom and The ReMembering programme.
This circle includes, but is not limited to
- Medical and health professionals such as nurses, registered nurses, therapists, mental health practitioners, physical therapists, dental professionals, and reproductive health specialists.
- Wellness and care practitioners, including herbalists, traditional healers, body workers, yoga/breath work instructors and holistic health providers.
- Educators, counsellors, financial advisors, and professionals who support family stability, economic well-being, and community resilience.
- Land-based and environmental professionals, such as farmers, agricultural educators, and ecological stewards, whose work supports sustainable living and food security.
- Specialists from aligned fields who can offer education, referrals, consultation, or community support based on need.
Members of the Educator and Advisory Circle may contribute in several ways. Some serve as referral resources for individuals and families seeking trusted care providers. Others participate as guest educators, workshop facilitators, speakers, or mentors within The ReMembering and the Birthkeeper programme. Many support the programme through consultation, guidance, and collaborative relationship building.
Over the years, Rooted in Wisdom has organically developed a trusted network of professionals across multiple states. With the formal establishment of our nonprofit and The ReMembering programme, this network is now being intentionally gathered, reconnected, and structured into a cohesive advisory and educator body. This allows us to move from informal referrals to a more organised, accountable, and sustainable system of support.
Our long-term vision is to develop a comprehensive internal directory of trusted professionals who align with our mission and values. This directory enables us to respond to community needs with clarity, confidence, and care. It also creates pathways for collaboration, education, and shared service within a broader ecosystem of reproductive, familial, and community wellness.
